About Us

Collaborating for Change in West LondonWest London Shared Services & Matching Mergers, led by West London Network, is a new online ‘matching service’ allowing voluntary and community sector (VCS) groups to get in touch with other groups interested in merging or sharing back office services, admin or finance. Groups will be able to easily see what opportunities are out there and connect with each other to explore ways of working together.

Groups are able to find and contact each other using the information found here on the site. Our team may assist groups to find each other and collaborate by suggesting suitable matches.

All listings are moderated before going live, but ultimate responsibility for the accuracy of listing information lies with the individual submitting the listing. No goods are held by West London Network in lieu of finding a match.

Funded by Cabinet Office, Office for Civil SocietyThis service is one of many projects in the Collaborating 4 Change (C4C) programme. C4C is funded by the Big Fund Transforming Local Infrastructure programme on behalf of the Cabinet Office. It aims to modernise support by second‐tier VCS organisations to frontline groups.  The West London grant for C4C was the largest one made nationally through this fund.

Key services provided by the project

  • An online notice-board that helps VCS groups offer or request to share services such as:
    • Staff e.g. Book-keeper, Finance Officer, IT Officer
    • ITC e.g. Video camera
    • Premises e.g. Training Room
  • Good-practice advice tips in considering mergers or shared back office functions
  • Case studies of existing successful mergers or shared back office functions among VCS groups in West London
  • Signposting to national or regional advice agencies, which can provide help to VCS groups on mergers or shared back office functions.

How can this benefit your group?
